Soap nuts also called Soap Berries are a natural detergent, with natural cleaning essence contained in their shell.
The sapindus mukorossi nuts produce important amounts of saponifying agent that can be used as a laundry detergent, dish and hand soap, shampoo and body wash and mosquito repellent.
Laundry: 4-8 soapnut shells, put them in a washing bag, a sock or net. Place soapnuts into the washing machine and select the setting. When washing cycle is over, take the soapnuts out of the bag and leave them to dry. You can use them 3-4 times before going to green waste.
